Frequently Asked Questions

What services are you currently offering?

I currently offer only individual therapy sessions virtually and do not provide couples or family therapy. Depending on the treatment plan goals, I integrate both talk therapy and EMDR techniques during sessions. At this time, I do not have any immediate plans to resume in-person sessions.

Should we do talk therapy or EMDR?

Talk therapy typically involves discussing and exploring thoughts and emotions through conversation with a therapist, while EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) focuses on processing and resolving traumatic memories through bilateral stimulation, often involving eye movements. The selection of the therapy modality will be determined by the goals outlined in your treatment plan.

Can you write an ESA letter for me?

I do not write ESA letters due to my practice being virtual and my limited expertise when it comes to evaluating the necessity of an emotional support animal.
